Description:
You will be the Subcontract Administrator providing support on the Launchers Program (HIMARS, M270 & AME).
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Administrator, you will be responsible for the timely placement of Purchase Orders (PO) for a set of assigned suppliers. Your responsibilities will include:
• Release Request for Proposals (ensuring all internal requirements have been met)
• Evaluate supplier proposal submittals
• Negotiate PO terms (e.g. Terms and Conditions, Special Payments, etc.)
• Build PO and route for appropriate approvals
• Supporting new business proposals, post-award contracts execution, and contract closeout
• Managing subcontract tasks such as: preparing bid packages, organizing bidders' conferences, defining evaluation criteria, assessing proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions (e.g. CorpDocs, Special Payments, etc.), finalizing subcontractor selection, administering subcontracts, and negotiating and completing subcontract modifications

This position is located in Grand Prairie, TX Discover Grand Prairie
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Supply Chain, logistics, or project management
experience.
-Must be proficient Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
-Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
-Excellent communications skills
-Ability and willingness to travel to support fact-finding efforts and face-to-face negotiations
Desired Skills:
-Working knowledge of SAP and/or LMP2P Business Systems
-Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management;
-Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools;
-Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizations;
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
