Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As part of the team, you will be working in the restaurant operations industry, managing the cash flow of multiple restaurant locations and ensuring accurate records are kept.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee cash management for multiple restaurant locations to ensure smooth financial operations

• Execute transactions in a timely and accurate manner

• Manage relationships with vendors and handling related financial matters

• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and update financial records

• Ensure attention to detail in all financial operations

• Resolve financial discrepancies and issues related to customer accounts

• Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate actions when necessary

• Assist in other accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Demonstrated experience with bank reconciliations and cash transactions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Excellent attention to detail with high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
