What you will do
As the Systems Integration Engineer, you provide professional expertise related to vehicle software-based functions and configuration management. You will ensure correct integration of new mechatronics systems into the vehicle architecture.
You will be responsible for:
Development and implementation of the System Integration Plan
Administration of software baselines for the North American Product Classes
Communicate content of software deliveries to local stakeholders. This includes feature increments, solutions to existing problems, known issue list.
Creation of software packages and software breakdowns for test objects and the maintenance of these test objects in the appropriate systems.
Documenting integration issues and working with software development teams to secure completeness and quality of features and functionalities in each baseline delivery.
Collaborates with test engineers in development system verification plan.
Preparation and administration of the Software Baseline Release Board.
Your future team
Our team, the Electrical Engineering and Vehicle Connectivity (EEVC) department, delivers all electrical features on Volvo and Mack trucks to the North American market. We work with diesel vehicles, electromobility products, automation, and connectivity. Within EEVC, the Truck Build and Configurations team is responsible for preparing test objects used in verification and validation activities, for managing software baselines releases and for delivering correct software configurations towards test objects.

Requirements:
Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronics
8+ years of experience from software development and configuration management, preferably from automotive, commercial vehicle or transportation industry
