VICE PRESIDENT, INTERNAL AUDIT: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Assuring the Reliability of Information – Provides the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and VF management with a means to reasonably assure that financial and operating information is reliable.

  • Assuring the Effectiveness and Efficiency of Operations - Provides the Audit Committee of VF’s Board of Directors and VF management with a means to reasonably assure that operations are conducted on an effective and efficient basis.

  • Assuring Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations – Provides the Audit Committee of VF’s Board of Directors and VF management with a means to reasonably assure VF’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Identifying Value at Risk – Evaluates facets of VF’s operations to help VF management identify areas where Value at Risk appears to exist. Value at Risk is defined as “that value generated or to be generated, as yet unrealized within VF.”

  • Recruitment and Development - Recruits talented individuals with financial, technology and supply chain backgrounds and high leadership potential, provides such individuals with training in delivery of strategic assurance to VF, and provides such individuals with broad exposure to VF’s operations. VF Internal Audit serves as a key resource for development of financial, supply chain, and technology leaders in VF.

  • Monitoring Contractor Compliance – Inspects and certifies over 1500 third-party contractors used by VF, or its licensees, on an annual basis.

Years of Related Professional Experience: 15+ 

Educational/Position Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s degree and CPA preferred

  • Generally, fifteen years or more of progressive experience of combined audit/finance/consumer products, with five to seven years of managerial experience

  • History of extensive exposure to GAAP, GAAS and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

  • Extensive international experience preferred

  • Strategically oriented, but highly reliable in executing against goals

  • Excellent analytical skills 

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities 

  • Strong negotiation skills 

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

  • Strong people leader with proven success in people management

Hiring Range :

$200,000.00 USD - $250,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.

Long-Term Incentive Potential : This position is eligible to participate in a Long-Term Incentive Plan. Specific details of the plan will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
