Eaton Corporation Supply Chain Supervisor in Greenwood, South Carolina

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor. This position is located at our facility in Greenwood, SC. Relocation offered to those who reside in the U.S outside 50 miles of the facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

Our Supply Chain Supervisor will plan, direct, & coordinate the materials functions for the Greenwood facility, including inter-unit, purchasing, inventory control, and production control. Manage the procurement of a large variety of complex materials and services to effectively support the production requirements for the plant. Analyze and ensure that the proper procurements methods are being used, to maximize material availability while minimizing inventory and supply chain cost.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Devise methods and policies to ensure the most economical movement of materials in/out of plant to achieve cost-effective practices.

  • Supervise, coordinate, and measure performance of assigned Planners-Buyers, handling priorities of production and support issues with suppliers to ensure organizational goals are achieved.

  • Participate and support in different projects related to savings, design, sourcing, etc.

  • Create training material and document procedures as well as develop, implement, and maintain appropriate processes to ensure a productive planning process and well-considered and implementable strategic plans that comply with new/existing business processes.

  • Find the materials requirements needed to meet production schedules, inventory levels, and shipment demands to achieve on-time production and inventory management requirements. Drive for resolution of material shortages.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of materials and monitors business trends and economic cycles to anticipate change in order flow from customers and material availability from suppliers.

  • Assess and evaluate inventory and delivery problems and recommends and/or implements solutions to optimize inventory levels and manufacturing schedule.

  • Evaluate work performance of the group annually, or as required, to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc.

  • Coach direct reports on performance including goal setting, development planning through regular 1:1s

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Three (3) years of experience in supply chain, operations, or supervision in a manufacturing environment

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business

  • APICS Certification

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems

  • Manager of people experience.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of materials planning systems, production planning, and inventory control.

  • ISO or QS knowledge

  • Leading strategic supply chain projects, high level of analytical skills.

  • Strong knowledge of computerized inventory systems, scheduling techniques, general manufacturing, and ability to interpret drawings and prints.
