Company Description The RESEA Team Lead operates within the Ohio Means Jobs Center Columbus-Franklin County to oversee the delivery of the Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program to program participants. This federally funded program provides intensive reemployment assistance to job seekers who are receiving unemployment benefits and are likely to exhaust their benefits before securing employment. The RESEA Team Lead will manage a team of RESEA program advisors, ensuring the effective implementation of the program's objectives and procedures. In the absence of the RESEA Manager, the Team Lead assumes managerial responsibilities. Job Description Lead and supervise a team of RESEA program advisors, providing guidanceand support to ensure the effective delivery of reemployment services. Manage a caseload of RESEA program participants, overseeing the delivery of reemployment services and ensuring compliance with program requirements. Conduct initial and subsequent appointments with program participants, assessing their competencies, work history, educational attainment, skills, and abilities. Identify challenges to finding employment and develop strategies to address them, providing guidance and support to program participants. Collaborate with program participants to create individualized reemployment plans, outlining available services and resources to support their job search efforts. Maintain up-to-date information about area resources and employers, ensuring program participants have access to relevant job opportunities. Provide information to program participants on available training and employment opportunities, assisting them in accessing relevant programs and services. Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate electronic participant files, ensuring compliance with program documentation requirements. Collaborate with the RESEA Program Manager to coordinate program activities and ensure program objectives are met. Assist the RESEA Manager in program evaluation and reporting activities, providing input on program effectiveness and areas for improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, human services, counseling) preferred. Previous experience in workforce development, career counseling, or related field required. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of advisors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations. Knowledge of local labor market trends, employment resources, and support services. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic file management systems. Commitment to providing high-quality services to program participants and achieving program goals.
