What you will do

As the Lead Verification Engineer for the 13L VGT Product Stream, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing the project’s durability and reliability verification plan, the Durability and Reliability budget within the project, and coordination with Reliability engineers in support of RGM verification of the features.

This position reports to the Manager of 13L VGT Complete Powertrain Product Team.

Your future team

Our team, 13L VGT Product Stream, is an important part of the Powertrain Engineering function for Volvo Group Trucks Technology North America. Powertrain Engineering is responsible for developing and maintaining products and product components of the complete driveline. Our product portfolio includes combustion engines, Exhaust After Treatment Systems (EATS), transmissions and axles as well as hybrid powertrains. We work close with GTT Electromobility, and together we develop fully electrified powertrains. Powertrain Engineering also includes Group Truck Technology's center of development and expertise for Hydrogen solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • 8-12+ years of experience in product development or a related area

  • Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of powertrain systems

  • Domestic and international travel, up to 10%
