Kuehne+Nagel Branch Manager in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Your Role

As the Branch Manager, you'll oversee daily operations, support and develop staff, and drive strategic initiatives to meet company goals. Your leadership will be key in maintaining compliance, fostering a positive workplace, and expanding our market presence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and enhance profitability.

  • Customer Engagement: Grow existing relationships, reduce churn, and meet customer expectations.

  • Team Development: Oversee and develop branch staff, ensuring continuous training and succession planning.

  • Market Expansion: Monitor market trends, promote KN products, and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure operations align with QSHE standards.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Proven background in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Transportation, with expertise in international freight operations.

  • Experience managing diverse teams and motivating staff for high performance.

  • Degree/Diploma in International Business, Trade, Logistics, or related field preferred. Freight forwarding apprenticeship is an asset.

  • Strong sales orientation and ability to identify growth opportunities.
