Your Responsibilities
Management of our categories and permanent developing of our supplier and risk management
Developing strategies in alignment with our corporate brand and sister brands.
Executing and coordinating of sourcing projects, including fact base gathering, defining a sourcing approach, tendering products, negotiating with suppliers, aligning of decisions, ensuring professional preparation, and finalization of project contracts with regard to time, cost and quality
Insuring a rigorous application of the negotiated contract and a return of experience
Assessing processes and spend in scope and develop optimization opportunities
Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to implement category related savings and process improvement opportunities
Coordinating and driving of activities performed by Technical Procurement
Application of company policies & processes including the agreed Sourcing Management methodology and approach to deliver robust terms and conditions
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Maritime Engineering or in SCM (Master’s degree is a plus)
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in SCM/ Procurement applying 7-steps methodology preferably within the maritime industry
Experience in conducting price negotiations & drafting contracts as well as in project and supplier management
Technical understanding and excellent analytical skills
Hands-on experience working with multiple partners to resolve exceptions and negotiate best alternatives
Fluent English, proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, good knowledge about maritime purchasing software
Confident demeanor, autonomous working and teamwork capabilities, strong ability to communicate and high degree of result orientation
