VCA Animal Hospitals Licensed Veterinary Technician in Hamburg, Michigan

VCA Countryside Animal Hospital of Hamburg is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our general practice. Join an amazing team and have a wonderful work/life balance!

VCA Countryside Animal Hospital of Hamburg is located in Hamburg, Michigan, approximately 30 miles South-East of the Greater Lansing area. Hamburg Township is a relatively small area comprised of 36 square miles. Having been a fixture in the Hamburg Community for over 30 years, our hospital has a very good reputation within our community.

We recognize the investment you have made in obtaining your knowledge and skills, and we want you to utilize those skillsets to help us deliver on great pet health outcomes. For this position, the skills the candidate should possess include, but are not limited to:

  • High quality and compassionate care for every patient

  • Physical examinations and patient assessment

  • Delivery of outstanding client service

  • Venipuncture & IV catheter placement

  • Radiology technique and safety

  • Anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery

  • Surgical preparation and assisting

  • Dentistry

  • Medication preparation and administration

  • Understanding of laboratory tests and procedures

  • Flexibility in hours including but not limited to evenings and Saturday’s. Part time and full time positions are available
