Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting top talent for corporate staff positions. Based at our West Chester, Ohio regional office, you will work as part of a dedicated team sourcing and recruiting the most qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will be highly professional, friendly, and well-versed in full-cycle recruiting. The ability to build strong relationships is critical to success. Summary of Responsibilities: Establish and cultivate relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal business partners to fill open positions. Source candidates through networking, internet searches, social media, and other tactics. Partner with and support the internal HR team with candidate sourcing and selection. Interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process (phone screening calls, video interviews, and in-person meetings) Oversee internal and external communication, ensuring our company maintains a positive reputation as an employer. Organize hiring events and participate in recruiting events to network with potential candidates. Utilizing Workday and our SmashFly CRM, source, screen, and interview candidates; Prepare and extend job offers. Conduct pre-employment background assessments and schedule medical examinations. Manage all communication with candidates from when they apply until they onboard. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: 4-year degree in business, human resources, or related field. At least 2 years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience. Experience working with ATS Applicant Tracking Systems. Must be well-organized and able to manage competing demands. Excellent interviewing skills; experience with various interview techniques. Knowledge of HR laws, labor legislation, OFCCP compliance, and EEO requirements. Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written. Strong computer skills and HR technology. Must be willing to work onsite 5 days week. Preferred Qualifications: Experience sourcing/recruiting in Finance, IT, HR/Legal, Environmental, and Engineering. Experience recruiting in manufacturing/heavy industry. Strong sourcing experience using resume databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, and social media. Workday Recruiting experience is strongly preferred. Experience with SmashFly and LinkedIn Recruiter.
