Reference #: GAFLUS20218158EXTERNALENUSWhat You Will Do:As a Human Resources Administrative Assistant, you will provide direct support to the VP, Director of Human Resources, and managers and staff of the Human Resources Department. You will be responsible for providing general administrative support for employee onboarding and acquisition processes.Principal Responsibilities and essential functions:Provide direct support to the VP, Director of Human Resources, and staff of the Human Resources Department.Lead or assist in corporate sponsored activities including collecting and tracking payments of those activities.Serve as main point of contact for the department -answer phone calls, distribute mailRespond to employment verification requests.Make travel arrangements.Order supplies; and organize meetings for the department.Prepare check requests for payment to vendors for services.Participate on the Wellness Committee and organize flu shots and blood drives and other wellness related events.Coordinate new hire emails and produce employee identification badges for all new hiresDraft offer letters, initiate requisitions and assisting with onboarding activitiesSchedule and coordinate details of interviews including travel logistics for candidates and manage reimbursement processManage postings to external job boards and niche sites, distribute resumes and update applicant tracking system with relevant candidate information as required.Assist with logistics and planning to support regional offices for career fairs and recruiting eventsEducation | Experience:Minimum QualificationsA high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) may include specialized or vocational coursesAn associates or bachelors degree is strongly preferred3-5 years of human resources administrative experience is requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to maintain confidential informationExperience with Microsoft Office is requiredCompany Overview:AtGannett Fleming, we believe inimprovingthe lives of the people we serve.
