Reference #: 4516315 THE POSITION The Department of Transportation, Bureau of Driver Licensing is interested in hiring a clerical assistant 2 position for our Harrisburg location.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position you will be responsible to research and provide various vehicle information records for the general public, department personnel, insurance companies, law enforcement agencies, legislators, courts, attorneys, and others.  This position will handle sensitive personal information daily therefore confidentiality is a key requirement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch. Salary:  Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $34,621 (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: Requires a background check for placement - This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment. How To Apply:
