Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Data and Quality Analyst (Administrative Officer 2) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 4405001 THE POSITION The Bureau of Corporations and Charitable Organizations is excited to hire a Data and Quality Analyst.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures related to information technology (IT) systems that support the corporate and charities filings in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Data and Quality Analyst, you will develop and maintain databases, analyze data, and compile reports for the bureau's internal applications.  You will collect, prioritize, and analyze information and existing documentation, and research best practices and new initiatives applicable to bureau programs and systems.  Assertive and critical thinking abilities are utilized in the development of policies and procedures as they pertain to a system's business processes.  We are looking for someone who possesses excellent communication skills and is able to effectively lead meetings with agency personnel, application users, process owners, various technical teams, and others to gather information and identify business needs, existing system issues, and best practices.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days a week.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or

Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

At least 1 year of experience as a data analyst or project manager.
