Position Summary: The Cleveland Brothers Fluid Analysis Lab is a high-throughput testing facility dedicated to ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our customers' equipment. Just as blood work provides critical health insights for humans, our comprehensive tests on used lubricating oils, coolants, and diesel fuels offer vital diagnostics for heavy equipment, on-road trucks, and generators. These insights help minimize downtime and reduce operating costs. Our lab is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, including ICP-OES, FTIR, gas chromatographs, viscometers, and oil express systems, allowing us to deliver precise and timely results. If you are passionate about technology and keen to work with a dedicated team, the Cleveland Brothers Fluid Analysis Lab offers a dynamic and impactful environment. As a Lab Technician I, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our Fluid Analysis Lab. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented and ready to contribute to our team's success. Your responsibilities will include essential tasks such as preparing samples for testing, conducting initial inspections, managing sample loads on testing equipment, maintaining a clean lab environment, and entering sample data into LIMS. This role's daily responsibilities rotate between processing samples in the lab and entering sample data in the office. The Lab Technician I provides vital support to our senior technicians, ensuring the lab operates smoothly and efficiently. Primary Responsibilities: Review and organize incoming samples Prepare samples for lab instrumentation Load and unload samples on various lab machines Assist with the maintenance and calibration of lab equipment Conduct routine lab cleaning and organization Dispose of processed samples Enter sample data into lab database Support senior lab technicians and managers with various tasks Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in a science-related field is a plus Basic understanding of lab safety and protocols Strong attention to detail and organizational skills is a must Ability to follow instructions and work independently Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Moderate computer proficiency, including experience with data entry and using laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
