Job Description :

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Provides care, consultation, and education for patients and staff in specific clinical area.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitates the patient flow process while ensuring quality patient care in a cost effective manner. (20%)

• Directs patients care activities and patient education. (10%)

• Performs the job responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (e.g. blood pressure, height, and weight). (10%)

• Provides medication therapy services and physician support services under the supervision of the primary physician. (40%)

• Completes medical record responsibilities to meet hospital and state requirements. (20%)

• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Current state RN licensure

Preferred

• 3 years of psychiatry experience

Pay Range Minimum:

$28.18

Pay Range Maximum:

$43.80

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
