This Machine Operator II position is on 2nd shift.
Hiring bonus of $500.00 payable after 90 days for new hires.
Wage starts at $20.99 plus $1.50/hour shift differential
Essential Functions: Set-up and operate various machines and equipment to cut, bend, shape, shear, punch, drill, and/or test raw materials, parts, components and/or assemblies.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required
Blueprint Reading
Precision Tools and Measuring
Certifications:
- Forklift, if applicable
Quality Metric:
Scrap Dollars
Rejected and/or reworked parts
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for specific department.
Demonstrate ability to use measuring equipment for specific department.
Take Minimum Qualifications Test with a desired score of 70% or better.
Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance
Introductory Level: Primary focus is learning the process
Successful completion of introductory period (6 months)

Essential Functions (Maximum Timeframe 6 months)
Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance: Press brakes, CNC punches, and *laser machines. ( if applicable)
Demonstrate ability to make proper adjustments on related machinery and/or equipment with assistance.
Demonstrate ability to produce quality parts within acceptable scrap rate.
Able to identify and troubleshoot problems with parts being produced with assistance, while meeting the productivity requirements for the department.
Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs).

Essential Functions (Maximum Timeframe 18 months)
Demonstrate ability to set-up and run >50% of operations in specific department with little or no assistance to include: Press brakes, CNC punches, and *laser machines. ( if applicable)
Demonstrate ability to make proper adjustments on related machinery and/or equipment with little or no assistance.
Demonstrate ability to do basic prototyping of parts with little or no assistance.
Demonstrate the ability to calculate bend allowances and understand tooling radius.
Demonstrate ability to perform preventive maintenance on related machinery and/or equipment.
Able to identify and troubleshoot problems with parts being produced without any assistance, while meeting the productivity requirements for the department.
