Our client, a leader in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician

Location: Hattiesburg, MS

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility.

• Travel between multiple facilities to ensure their proper function and compliance with applicable standards.

• Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and technical proficiency.

• Conduct cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts to maintain HVAC systems at optimum performance levels.

• Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• 5-7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.

• Ability to analyze the operation of various Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• EPA 608 Type II Certification.

• Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
