Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant based in Hauppauge, New York. The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support and customer service. This role involves project coordination, handling phone calls, and administrative tasks. The position also requires proficiency in MS Excel and a strong ability to multitask in a dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming phone calls, ensuring efficient communication within the office.

• Coordinate projects, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

• Send and respond to emails, ensuring clear and effective communication with team members and clients.

• Use MS Excel to manage data and perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Provide customer service, addressing inquiries and escalating them as necessary.

• Plan and organize programs, ensuring they are executed smoothly.

• Assist with various administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• Candidate must have previous experience in an administrative assistant role.

Bi-Lingual Spanish Required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks is necessary.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is needed.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial.

• Experience with office management systems and procedures is preferred.

• The candidate should have a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

• The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential.

• Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation is required.

• Understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies is desirable.

• The candidate should be comfortable handling internal and external communication and correspondence.
