*[Audiology Technician *[NH Clinic Cherry Point, NC

[Position Duties and Responsibilities:]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}

• Perform pure tone threshold hearing testing and otoscopic screening techniques.
• Check and calibrate audiometric instruments and equipment.
• Prepare patients for testing.
• Scheduling of patients and patient medical record documentation in electronic systems and on medical forms.
• Counsel patients regarding audiometric test results, health promotion topics and workplace hazards.
• Provide hearing health education to the patients.

[Minimum Qualifications: ]{new="" roman="" times=""}

• High School Diploma or be a graduate of a military corpsman/medic Hearing Test Technician.
• Possess and maintain a certification by the Council on the Accreditation of Occupational Hearing Conservation.
• Posses a minimum of one year experience within the past three years in the audiology field.
• Certification by the Council on the Accreditation of Occupational Hearing Conservation.
• Must be a US Citizen.
