The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Experienced Systems Engineer - Supplier Change Quality to support our location in the Saint Louis MO region. You will work within our Fighters and Bombers organization. Our Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) team within BDS provides system integration services to US Navy, Air Force and international military partners. This includes managing the engineering changes of our Suppliers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed reviews of Supplier change documentation to ensure compliance with Boeing’s change management requirements.

  • Coordinate customer reviews of Supplier change documentation with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) representatives.

  • Facilitate Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) reviews of supplier change documentation.

  • Serve as the F/A-18 focal for change documentation performance metrics with Boeing Leadership and DCMA leadership.

  • Track and report Supplier Change Proposal quality to program and customer leadership.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

  • 3 years of engineering experience.

  • Experience using all of the following Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Collaboration & written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with reading change documentation and drawings.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
