Schedule: PRN, day shift
Shift : weekends and holidays. 2 to 3 twelve hour shifts per week.

The role you’ll contribute: Under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Department Manager and the direct supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT), the Respiratory Care Assistant is responsible for providing Respiratory Care Services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, department policies and procedures. The RCA is only allowed to perform procedures covered in class.

Provides respiratory services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, department policies and procedures.
Administer respiratory therapy treatments, understands the purpose of each and the possible side effects associated with each.
Documents all pertinent data on the patients’ electronic medical record following completion of any service.
All other duties as assigned by RT Leadership
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: ( Taleo)
Current License with the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board
Completed the first year and is currently enrolled in a two-year approved Respiratory Therapy Program. This employee must stay enrolled in school or their license will be revoked and employment be terminated.
Current BLS CPR
NRP required within 90 days of hire
