As the Logistics Coordinator, you'll oversee efficient transportation operations and provide exceptional support throughout the logistics process. salary: $22 - $24 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Shipment Coordination: Organize and coordinate transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

  • Order Processing: Handle orders from clients or internal departments, verify accuracy, and coordinate with warehouses or suppliers for fulfillment.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and maintain sufficient stock to meet demand.

  • Vendor Communication: Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders to schedule shipments, resolve issues, and negotiate rates.

  • Documentation: Prepare shipping documents, invoices, bills of lading, and customs paperwork ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Tracking and Reporting: Monitor shipment status, provide regular updates, and generate reports on key performance indicators.

  • Problem Solving: Address logistics-related issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, implementing corrective actions.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

  • Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

Skills

  • Supply Chain (2 years of experience is required)

  • Vendor Management (2 years of experience is required)

  • Invoices (1 year of experience is preferred)

  • Data Entry (1 year of experience is required)

  • Excel (1 year of experience is required)

  • Microsoft Office (2 years of experience is required)
