Google Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

  • Experience influencing or selling to C-level stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate in English and Vietnamese fluently to conduct necessary business communications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in sales in a technology, advertising, media sales or internet environment.

  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising or media campaigns.

  • Experience in media across a variety of platforms (e.g., TV, radio, print, sponsorship, etc.).

  • Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously with great attention to detail.

  • Ability to succeed in a rapidly changing environment with excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills.

Mid-Market Sales Account Executives are executive sellers for potential clients, focusing primarily on C- and B-level relationship building. Using their influencing skills, industry and marketing expertise, and business acumen, Account Executives help to shape and evolve client objectives and identify opportunities for future client growth.

Account Executives challenge clients’ short- and long-term goals, build strategy alongside Account Strategists and client-side partners, and identify ways for Google to enhance clients’ ability to meet their business and marketing objectives. You will work to design transformative media strategies for growth based on the customer objectives. Providing solution selling, partnership management, and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. Using your commercial acumen, you uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve their objectives while driving incremental business agreements through advertising solutions.Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities.   • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.

  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.

  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.

  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.

  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
