Google Country Director, Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience working in sales and commercial leadership.

  • Experience in sales and management within the technology, advertising, and/or Internet industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising and/or media campaigns.

  • Experience managing business growth performance across several asian markets.

  • Experience in scaling up offices from the ground up in new locations at speed.

  • Ability to conduct necessary business communications in English professionally and fluently (written and spoken).

  • Ability to drive results in a multinational matrixed organization.

  • Proven track record in relevant country director or country manager leadership roles.

  • Manage Vietnam operations, including the development and execution of the overall Vietnam strategy.

  • Build an advertising business operations capability to provide premium service to Google’s advertisers.

  • Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google products and services in region.

  • Establish relationships with executive-level individuals at advertising agencies.

  • Ensure product launches are successfully communicated to local market.
