Google Manager, Scaled, Google Customer Solutions in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of sales experience in technology, advertising, media agency, or internet, and experience growing a market.

  • Experience coaching and mentoring in a sales context. Experience creating plans to develop and maintain client relationships and accounts.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising and/or media campaigns.

  • Ability to conduct necessary business communications in English professionally and fluently (written and spoken).

  • Ability to drive results in a multinational matrixed organization.

Proven track record in creating and implementing successful sales strategies with customers.

  • Ability to organize workshops and learning seminars for agency C-level executives to elevate their understanding and adopt advertising solutions at scale. Ability to recruit, retain and lead a team of Account Managers to ensure improved growth, high client satisfaction and enhanced portfolio health.

  • Ability to coach high-performing sales teams to negotiate and close big revenue opportunities with C-level executives focused on delivering measurable ROI.

Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer.

As a Manager, you'll manage business engagements with GCS’ SMB advertisers in the market. You will own and strengthen executive-level client relationships and provide business growth strategy consultation through key C-level meetings, quarterly reviews, and speaking engagements.

You’ll be responsible for recruitment, retention, coaching and development of a team of account managers, helping them engage with executive stakeholders at clients. You will also partner closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Agency, PSA, International Growth) to help drive the success of the overall scaled segment.

  • Deliver business growth, engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of GCS-managed scaled and upsell advertisers. Manage and strengthen executive-level client relationships through key meetings, business reviews, and speaking engagements.

  • Recruit, retain, and lead the team of GCS Account Strategists and Accelerated Growth Strategists to ensure improved growth and enhanced portfolio health.

  • Lead and coach a sales team and help them engage with stakeholders across GCS customers and agencies. Build and actively manage an effective long-term planning process with advertisers.

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Agency, gTech, Marketing, PSA, and International Growth) to help drive the success of the overall Engage segment.
