Abbott Trade Marketing Manager - Abbott Pharmaceutical in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Main purpose of roles:
Developing and executing channel development plan to maximize the opportunity for market penetration and expansion aligned with company and brand strategy
Responsible for developing trade promotion program for trade channels to achieve the channel objectives while effectively manage the budget for trade discount and FOC
In charge in connection between sales, marketing and other functions to ensure achievement of sales and budget objectives and trade KPIs in line with company objectives

2. Main responsibilities:
Develop the trade promotion plan and manage the execution of trade promotion programs to maximize the product availability at stores as well as optimize the stock level
In charge in connection between sales, marketing and other functions to ensure achievement of sales and budget objectives and trade KPIs in line with company objectives
Manage the budget of trade discount and FOC as the approved budget
Collaborate with Sales team to develop value added programs to build company equity and gain customer loyalty
Collaborate with data analysis department to analyse the reports of activities and provide recommendations and correction plan to ensure the optimal ROI
Ensure all trade marketing activities communicated and implemented properly
Ensure that customer feedback is taken-into account in building trade marketing plan by regularly visiting sales teams, customers and stores.
Ensure all activities comply with company policy and legal.
Utilize market intelligence from different resources to identify trends, competitor activities and business opportunities. Adjust plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
Ensure that marketing strategies and activities are aligned with the overall company objectives.
Lead retail channel’s trade marketing strategy development to accomplish defined business objectives throughout product categories.
Manage and monitor Trade Marketing Investments as well as tracking execution.
Prepare trade promotion plans to JBP with main customers (Chains/ Key customers)
Coordinate with other functions: market access, marketing and to be in charge in communication with sales team for the changes relating to price, product, packaging
Perform closely with TA/ Managers/ Brand Manager to enhance processes linking corporate brand building activities as well as Product Development activities with Sales activities.
Responsible for the forecast accuracy for non-focused products and monitoring inventory to have on-time action to regulate the stock or minimize the risk of write-off for near expiry date stock
Working with external and internal stakeholder to ensure the smooth sales operation and support sales activities.
MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Work Experience :
3-5 years of commercial/sales experience
Experience in health care (OTC, Gx), Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and/or Retail
Marketing and trade marketing skills – Strong analytical skills (i.e., ROI calculation, forecasting and planning)
Professional Skill:
Knowledge of the retail landscape (Health care or FMCG industry) understand customer needs and expectations
Knowledge of the Trade Marketing and channel management
Knowledge of tools, techniques, category management & trade channels
Good at project management
