Information Technology (IT) Internship

Summer 2024

Location: Holland, MI

Schedule: Full Time; Monday - Friday

Job Summary: As an IT intern at LG Energy Solution, you will provide technical desktop assistance and customer service to employees, as well as support the oversight of information security at the business site.

This position will be responsible for work that includes:

• Assist with providing direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users as required via phone, email, on-line systems and in-person

• Assist with maintaining server health and performance to support all production systems

• Configure and install PCs, network printing devices, peripherals, and software, including physical attachment of equipment to the network

• Support with responding to business site information security issues

• Identify and evaluate business site risks and prepare information security actions

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field

• Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 GPA or higher

Skills

• Requires experience with various operating systems (Windows 7, 10, etc.)

• Knowledge with desktop operating systems, office applications, hardware, installation/troubleshooting, and knowledge of network operating systems

• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation

• Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new task and projects
