GDIT’s Military Health IT Team is HIRING a SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR to support GDIT’s Military Health Division across various locations. As a Systems Administrator at GDIT you will be responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation while supporting the customer. You will be trusted to work with a variety of different technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.

  • Responsibilities related to the installation, maintenance, configuration and integrity of computer software.

  • Implementing operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

  • Installing, configuring computer software and maintaining its integrity.

  • Implementing operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

  • Providing documentation for System Administration, as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in Information Technology

  • Minimum of (2) two years’ experience as a Systems Administrator

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and Security +.

  • Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).

  • Experience with Windows platform.

  • Experience in: Active Directory, SCCM/Tanium, VMware, NetApp, Microsoft Server and DHCP/file storage

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a NACLC (T3)
