Job Description

The Federal Product Lead & Business Management Analyst role is a hybrid position that combines strategic product management with business analysis and process improvement. This role specifically supports the Federal Retail Bond Program , ensuring compliance with federal regulations while driving the development and management of product solutions for the program. This person will be the translator between technology and the business side, which in this case is a unique space between Fiscal Services, IBM, and U.S. Bank. The position plays a critical part in both product vision and operational management, with a strong emphasis on ensuring adherence to federal compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Leadership: Drive product planning, development, management, and customer experience to deliver on a human-plus-digital product strategy. Create and maintain product vision, focusing on customer segments, market needs, channels, go-to-market strategy, and value propositions within the Federal Retail Bond Program.

  • Federal Program Focus: Ensure the product design and operational processes align with the unique requirements of the Federal Retail Bond Program. Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure all activities adhere to federal regulations.

  • Business Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyze and improve business processes, ensuring policy compliance, and increasing operational efficiency within the Treasury or other functional teams. Provide problem-solving support for internal and external stakeholders with a specific focus on federal program requirements.

  • Project Management: Oversee and manage projects related to product implementation and ongoing management, including compliance monitoring, vendor risk management, and cross-functional collaboration with teams such as risk management, procurement, and corporate finance.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate at senior levels with cross-functional teams to align on product combinations and pricing strategies. Serve as a point of contact with internal groups and external counterparties and vendors, ensuring compliance with federal program guidelines.

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship: Due to this role supporting a Federal program, U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related fields, preferably with experience in federal program management

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced capability in product strategy, profitability analysis, customer experience, and market insights

  • Strong understanding of business processes and experience in improving operational efficiency

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience with Federal Compliance: Demonstrated knowledge and experience working under federal compliance guidelines, particularly in relation to the Federal Retail Bond Program or similar federal initiatives

  • Familiarity with Tungsten (formerly Kofax) Total Agility

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
