Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

A petroleum company needs construction laborers to assist equipment operators, pipefitters, and demolition techs. You will be responsible for assisting in the installation of fueling tanks and piping for municipal centers and gas station stores in the Twin Cities metro area, along with work throughout the state of Minnesota if open to travel during the week. You will perform general labor tasks such as hauling material, digging, pouring concrete, keeping the worksite organized and free of hazards, and utilizing hand and power tools. If you have operating experience, you may have the opportunity to operate skid and backhoe equipment. Long-term, this position can grow into being a pipefitter, operator, or demo tech. We will help you acquire CDL - A. There is an opportunity to take a company vehicle home once direct with the client. The job involves physical tasks such as digging, performing labor tasks, hauling material, and coordinating with sub-vendors. Everyone works as a team.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in HOPKINS, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 5:30 pm, with the option to work Saturdays. Expect overtime. Candidates can come from West, East, and North metro and will go to the closest available site. Currently, there is a Kwik Trip project two weeks out. This is a family-owned company where getting along with other installers is important. The job can be dirty at times and involves working with petroleum fuels. You must be willing to lift up to 75 pounds. The work is non-repetitive with lots of growth opportunities. People come from various backgrounds, often with hobbies such as fishing, hunting, sports, or farm life.
