Travel Therapist/Social Worker Opportunity

Assignment Details – Clinical Social Worker

  • Specialty: Behavioral Health

  • License: Must be licensed in Kentucky as a LCSW, LPCC or LMFT

  • Location: Hopkinsville, KY

  • Flexible Start Date

  • Duration: 13 weeks

  • Full-Time, 36 hours per week, Weekends

  • Shift: Day shift, 7:00am-7:00pm, Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon

  • Enhanced hourly rate & bi-weekly, tax-exempt stipend

  • Paid travel to/from assignment

  • Opportunity for overtime

    Job duties to include:

  • Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients’ functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients’ treatment team

  • Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations

  • Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan

  • Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient

  • Provide group educational therapies to assigned patients consistent with established techniques and methods

    Qualifications

    Travel Therapist Job Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school with a master’s degree in psychology, social work, or professional counseling

  • Licenses/Certificates: Licensed, or license eligible as a social worker, marriage and family counselor or professional counselor per the state of Kentucky’s licensure and regulation standards for a mental health professional. LCSW preferred, will consider LPCC or LMFT; must be licensed in Kentucky

  • Experience: Two or more years’ experience in a mental health setting preferred. Must possess knowledge of major aspects of psychiatric treatment of population served.
