Description

We are urgently looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services for our Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company. The AR Clerk will manage the inflow of revenue and collaborate with other teams to reconcile payments. This role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of operations and monitors and validates the company's revenue.

Key responsibilities

1. Execute daily processes and controls accurately and timely while maintaining compliance with company policies.

2. Maintain customer files, processing customer payments and credits.

3. Work closely with the sales team to resolve billing issues or inquiries.

4. Prepare and present reports detailing accounts receivable status regularly.

5. Collaborate with team members to achieve business results.

6. Participate in annual audit procedures.

7. Assist in other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.

   Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

• Knowledge of Lock Box

• Cash applications

• Adeptness in Joint Interest Billing (JIB)

• Open Invoice experience highly desired

• Oracle experience preferred

• Strong familiarity with Vendor Management
