Description

A Construction company located in North Houston is searching for an Accounts Receivable Specialist on a contract to full-time basis. The hours are full-time Monday-Friday from 7:30-4:30pm and the position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• Prepare, review, and send billings to clients.

• Review all company bills for accuracy, and post to general ledger.

• Collect payment from clients.

• Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments.

• Resolves discrepancies.

• Prepare and send letters to clients on uncollected payments.

• Utilize onsite check processing machine to deposit daily receipts.

• Assist in various financial audits, including but not limited to year-end financial audit and sales tax audits.

• Assists with month end processes, as needed.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred but not required.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a billing capacity or similar role is required.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Sage software experience is a plus, but not required.

• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, while providing excellent customer service.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
