System One Financial Cost Analyst in Houston, Texas

Title: Financial Cost Analyst

Location: Houston, TX (77086)

Type: Direct Hire

An O&G Exploration client of ours is looking to bring on a Financial Cost Analyst!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly analysis of performance and profitability.

  • Maintain cost standards utilizing activity-based costing methods.

  • Support the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.

  • Conduct ad hoc financial investigations as needed.

  • Evaluate regional financial and operational data to provide actionable insights.

  • Strategize with regional teams, offering support and guidance.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and Activity-Based Costing (ABC) principles.

  • CPA, CMA, or experience in public accounting is a plus.

  • Experience in laboratory or oil and gas industries preferred.

  • Compensation DOE- $85K
