Deloitte SAP EAM Scrum Master in Houston, Texas

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily stand-up calls to discuss on the daily plans, progress and identify impediments. Assist the Product Owner in managing the backlog and making sure it's ready for the next sprint.

  • Proactively identify blockers or issues that hinder team progress and work towards resolving them. Facilitate communication between organizational functions to ensure team needs are met and impediments are resolved swiftly.

  • Facilitate sprint retrospective meeting where the team presents what they've accomplished during the sprint.

  • Facilitate the generation of reports like burn-down or burn-up charts to track progress. Ensure transparency in team progress and dynamics to stakeholders through clear and regular communication.

  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.

  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

The Team

Our SAP team focuses on design, implementation, and on-going operations and maintenance of SAP applications and technology. Professionals will have hands-on access and exposure to the latest technologies and thought leaders.

We work with clients who want to improve their ability to react on digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Applications include SAP AMS and SAP S/4HANA.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Candidates should possess hands-on 6+years' experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), preferably within the Oil and Gas industry. A background in maintenance will be highly advantageous.

  • Applicants should have 6+ years' experience proven track record of leading teams and possess strong skills in client-facing roles, demonstrating the ability to manage and guide team dynamics effectively.

  • Prospective candidates must have 6+ years' of practical experience in applying Agile methodologies in previous projects. They should be prepared to assume the role of a Scrum Master for the EAM track, guiding the team through Agile processes.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities

  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.

  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision.

  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills

  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations.
