YOUR SHIFT

Weekday Shift 2, Tuesday - Friday, four 10-hour days, from 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

YOUR OBJECTIVE

You lead your team in achieving optimal operational efficiency and excellence, including overseeing shift activities, ensuring compliance quality standards and with company policies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You train and develop employees on your shift. You ensure our team adheres to our safety practices and facility security procedures. You work closely with the Fulfillment Manager, Logistics Manager, and Team Leaders to identify daily work priorities and ensure proper resources are dedicated to the day’s most important tasks.

YOUR JOB

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cultural Alignment and Impact: Embody and promote the Life Is Good values. You lead by example to ensure a positive and collaborative work environment

  • Team Support and Management: Manage shift operations by effectively allocating labor, leading team meetings, and supporting daily assignments for receiving, inventory replenishment, production, Key Accounts, pick/pack, QC/Shipping, and Returns

  • Influence and Communication: Use exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to influence outcomes. Ensure adherence to the Life is Good policies and procedures, maintaining compliance and efficiency. You facilitate daily Start-of-Shift meetings.

  • Result-Oriented Problem Solving: Achieve results by quickly identifying root causes and driving improvements. Approach complex problems with practical and simple solutions, ensuring quality and core functionality are maintained.

  • System and Process Implementation: Provide daily support during the rollout and implementation of new systems and processes. Actively gather and incorporate team feedback to refine and optimize these initiatives.

  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure that all associates have the necessary tools to perform their jobs effectively, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.

  • Metric Reporting and Communication: Use metrics to identify performance gaps and implement targeted corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and team productivity. Communicate daily metrics clearly and report any exceptions promptly.

Requirements

Your Experience and Qualifications:

  • You bring the expertise gained from 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing

  • You effectively use the MS Office suite of products and can use Excel to solve a wide variety of business challenges

  • You know how to navigate and use SAP

  • You can effectively and continuously perform these physical activities: standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs (unassisted)
