Applied Materials Application Engineer for PDC Korea TCT (Technology Collaboration Team) in Hwaseong-Lucestar, South Korea

Job description:

  1. Provide continuous analysis of the technical/application landscape, customers HVP’s, and Fab environment all as part of the product management work to set the right products roadmap

  2. Applications mapping & analyzing :

Onsite product management capabilities to map the tool applications performance (limitations, strengths etc.), feed the PBU technology discussion and product road map

  1. On site expert of PDC applications (per domain) :
  • Expert of specific applications space (imaging / overlay /metrology/defectivity) and customer process technologies

  • Analyze tool/solution performance in fab environment and properly feedback PDC:

  • Map product performance limitation tackling customer new Applications/Layers/HVPs

  • Anticipate Tool performance facing new Technologies

  • Able to perform field value analysis and feedback for future and released features – compass for development

  • Lead multidisciplinary technical activities on site with R&D extension and the account/PDC teams

  1. Analyze and understand customer environment: (defectivity example)
  • Map all types of defects; N, N+1, N+2 technologies

  • Build a comprehensive data base layer by layer and defect by defect

  • M&I requirements from R&D to HVM (technical and environmental)

  1. Active part of application development process
  • Active attendance in PRD reviews

  • Field feedback on different solutions alternatives

  • Own some PRD’s

  1. Escalation path to account issues
  • Closely work with the account on application problem solving

  • Integrated part of the account daily activities

  1. Develop collaborative relationships with the customer
  • Become customer’s right hand on specific technology and application matters - Understand the roots of every request

Requirements:

  1. Deep understanding of customer environment and technology as a baseline and background to product development

  2. 5 year proven hands-on experience as an AE of M&I application in a products corporate or customer

  3. High analytical skills. Ability to research, analyze and understand complex system problem.

  4. Independent, can work in an open environment and efficiently manage his own work. Highly motivated and determined

  5. Interpersonal capabilities – ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and lead without authority as showing excellent communication and collaboration skills

  6. Strive for excellence. Setting and pursing high bar goals.

  7. Fluent communication in English on both verbal and text

  8. Travel – capable for initial 1-2 months travel and later willingness for frequent visits in PDC Israel (2-3 times/year)
