Nexeo is seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Assembly Technician Supervisor. This role involves supervising a team of assembly technicians and ensuring that daily tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. The supervisor will coordinate with various departments to ensure the timely and professional packaging and shipment of quality parts. This position requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing people or departments.

*Responsibilities *

   Assist with inspecting all finished goods from outside vendors before shipment.

   Assist with unloading and receiving freight manually and/or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

   Supervise the finishing and assembly of products to prepare them for final packaging and shipment.

   Oversee wrapping,packaging,and shipping of outgoing orders.

   Report back to the Production Coordinator and Project Managers.

   Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assembly area and tools.

   Check inventory to ensure the correct tools are on hand.

   Oversee assembly requirements on prints pertaining to pre-shipment needs.

   Prepare finished products for final packaging.

   Assist shipping and receiving with packaging of hardware and loose parts needed to ship with products.

   Work with quality and production departments to assemble products according to customer expectations.

   Identify damages,verify quantities,and report shortages or quality deficiencies of incoming products.

Qualifications

   Strong commitment to safety.

   Ability to read and follow prints,drawings,and assembly instructions.

   Good communication and interpersonal skills.

   Excellent time management and organizational skills.

   Ability to lead others in company expectations,protocol,and procedures.

   Ability to work in a team.

   Professional attitude.

   Clean driving record.

   Proficiency with Excel and Word.

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 Per Hour

Schedule

8:00am 4:30pm | Monday - Friday
