The Team:

The current position is with Data Quality & Governance team. Mission of the Quality team is to become a trusted partner of content teams to drive improvements in data quality so our clients can make business and financial decisions with confidence. This position is associated with data quality assessment for Transactions content team, who collects data pertaining to CIQ Mergers & Acquisitions.

The Impact:

• Assist in providing high quality information by identifying gaps in collection process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep dive into data analysis of each allocated project and drive discussions with stakeholders on workflow/procedure improvement through findings. Leading working groups with set objectives.

• Responsible to perform accuracy check on various data points collected by data collection team.

• Analyze error trends and root causes of opportunity areas & identify procedural gaps, and data inconsistencies, and work with content team to improve them.

• Excellent Communication Skills, handling conversations with stakeholders and building the ability to influence decision making. Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the datasets. • Provide ideas and execute for new SQL reports, process improvement and product enhancements related to the dataset & identify new projects, AI/ML ideas, and guiding others in the team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Shown strong understanding of the overall dataset. Can look at processes where the employee may not have any formal training and identify issues impacting core work.

• Ambassador of organization values of delivering value to the clients and exhibiting strong client focus in interactions and work ideations.

• Analytical mindset and strong in logical reasoning & Strong desire of upskilling

• Has acquired an additional tech skill (SQL/VBA/Power Bi/Tableau) and used the skill to successfully deliver a project/add value to the business.

• Should have exposure to work on data analysis through excel, customizing SQL queries and reporting inferences through dashboard.

• Should be aware of ML/Gen AI and can identify opportunities in the processes.

• Knowledge of Visualization Tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.).

• Should be able to understand customer trends and enhance the customer experience.

• Strong attention to details and persistent approach to work

• Ability to execute projects and managing stakeholders (upward, downward & peer level). Gauged based on projects delivered and stakeholder feedback.

• Able to effectively prioritize work, setting ETAs for deliverables and meeting deadlines.

• Actively networking to know the right stakeholders to approach for projects and discussions (within & outside the domain). Low dependency on the leader.

• General awareness about the team and not limited to allocated work/processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate degree in Finance/Commerce from a recognized university.

• Strong Secondary Research Skills

• Individual having minimum 4 years’ experience in the Valuations, M&A, Public Offerings, Buy backs, Private Placement and Bankruptcy deals.

• Should have exposure working on some department level projects and clearly define the deliverables

• Proven ability to work with minimal direction, maintain focus while working with routine tasks.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and effective time utilization/project management skills

• A positive attitude, strong interest in research, flair for writing and an eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge on Automation/Lean/Statistical tools such as Machine Learning/Gen AI, FMEA, CAPA, Defect Detection Model is an added advantage.

• Lean/six sigma certification is a plus to have.
