Job Description

Onsite - Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week (Bupyeong)

The Role

The ideal candidate will utilize his/her experience to collaborate with GM engineers to drive launch excellence of vehicles built at General Motors. The candidate will participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborative work bringing customer eyes to the engineering to ensure an successful launch execution to meet the new and future demands for the way the customer will interact with our products and will be working with and support the development of new technologies, in addition he/she will be exposed to global teams and will interact with all GM engineering centers in the world.

Additional Job Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)​​ -

  • Experience with design creation and/or integrating customer needs into engineering execution

  • Customer knowledge (customer feedback surveys, customer perception about the product, customer needs, new market/product trends)

  • Industry knowledge (Automotive, Electronics, Technology, Home appliances or another field that has strong customer interface with product)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field is required

  • GPA above B (3.0 / 4.5) in all academic year

  • A person discharged or exempted from the military service

  • A person who has no reason to be disqualified for traveling abroad

  • Good skill on writing, speaking, active listening and presenting in Korean & English (mandatory)

  • A person can work full-time after joining the company

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)-

• Passion about design and automotive creation is highly desired

• Previous experience with engineering, design, or quality

• Experience with Unigraphics NX/VRED/UNREAL or relevant tools will be a plus.

• Excellent communication (oral, written) and negotiation skills

• Effective Communication and negotiation skills
