We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial department by handling all aspects of our bookkeeping and accounting functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain the trial balance by a reconciliation of general ledgers and investigate any discrepancies
Generate invoices and account statements for clients and other departments
Perform collections of past due accounts working with company attorney as needed
Process all accounts payable invoices and prepare for payment
Create financial statements and related financial reports
Conduct daily banking activities using remote deposit scanner
Assisting with tax audits
Back-up support to Finance and Procurement Manager, CFO, and Fractional Controller
Be the first point of contact for incoming phone calls for the finance department
Organizing and filing digital and physical financial records
Vendor 1099-year-end reconciliation
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and petty cash accounts
Maintain AP and AR files
Assist CFO and fractional controller on required data

Ability to gather and monitor information that is highly confidential
Ability to focus, work under pressure, and deliver quality results under tight timelines
Be highly organized, detailed, accurate, and able to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload is critical
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Qualification Requirements
College degree in accounting OR bookkeeping certification
Minimum of two (2) years in a bookkeeping position, preferably in manufacturing or construction-related business
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP)
Proficient in Google Suite and Excel
Proficient in Quickbooks software - this is a MUST (we use the ONLINE version only)
College degree in Accounting or Finance and/or CPB License preferred
Valid drivers license
Pay and Benefits:
Full-Time Salary Exempt (40-45 hours weekly)
08:30 AM - 05:30 PM, Mon ay - Friday,flexible schedule options
Option to work remotely each Wednesday
