Description

Robert Half has a new opportunity for a Scanning Technician with an organization in the downtown Indianapolis area. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate conversion of paper documents into high-quality digital files for long-term retention. You will ensure the integrity of scanned documents through meticulous quality checks and proper indexing within our workflow systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Scanning Documents: You will meticulously prepare and scan physical documents using our high-speed scanners, ensuring proper orientation and following established procedures.

• Quality Control: You will review scanned documents for clarity, alignment, and completeness. If any issues are found, you will re-scan the affected documents to ensure optimal image quality.

• Indexing: You will be responsible for accurately indexing scanned images using designated workflow systems, ensuring efficient retrieval and searchability.

• Organization: You will maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the efficient flow of documents through the scanning process.

• Adherence to Protocols: You will strictly follow established scanning protocols and data security procedures.

  Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1+ years of experience working in a high-volume mailroom setting

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational skills

• Proficient in computer operation, with the ability to learn new software programs

• Excellent visual acuity
