Boehringer Ingelheim Process Manager - Quality Control in Ingelheim, Germany
Tasks & responsibilities
You work in global projects or lead sub-projects for the implementation of standardized operations processes in our global sites.
In your new role you are responsible to design and develop efficient global operations processes as well as for their implementation during global projects to ensure operations competitiveness.
Focus of this position is on Quality Control processes and its representation in Quality Control systems, with a strong focus on Labware LIMS. You identify solutions for bringing QC Processes/User Requirements into existing Labware LIMS functionality.
You drive alignments regarding user requirements and the level of process standardization globally with the Quality Control experts and further stakeholders from different areas and sites.
You create system life cycle documents and perform testing and trainings.
You support our end users with your process knowledge regarding process management with Labware and act as an interface to IT and Quality.
You have a strong regulatory background knowing the requirements for the pharmaceutical business and ensure that all our processes comply with it.
You manage external consultants and ensure the adherence to our internal standards.
Requirements
Master's Degree in a natural science or computer science
Working experience with laboratory systems and QC Processes including its implementation in QC systems (e.g., Labware LIMS)
Profound knowledge in Labware (e.g., Labware Admin, expert key user)
A sound and broad experience of at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry; preferred in Quality Control and/or CSV&C
“Can-do attitude” with proven ability to proactively tackle challenging tasks and assignments
Knowledge in GxP and other regulatory requirements (EU GMP guidelines, 21 CFR, 9 CFR, ICH guidelines) of the process and computer systems
Experiences in leading projects or sub-projects successfully
Dedicated team player and very structured concerning problem solving issues
Ability to work cross functionally, as well as excellent communication skills
Willingness to travel on a frequent basis (<30%)
Fluent in English, German language skills recommended
