CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for an IT Quality Assurance Intern to help uphold the CHS IT Quality Assurance and Testing standards and processes in a variety projects that will range in scale and complexity. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to function in a team-oriented environment with resource and time constraints.
Assist in authoring test cases that meet business requirements in order to validate the application or customer deliverables.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance Analysts or Quality Assurance Engineers to execute tests of business applications, online applications, document processing capability, and reporting deliverables.
Ensure test artifacts are captured and stored in repository during test execution.
Assist the product/project teams to triage, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Develop automations scripts and store in code repository.
Assist with activity, status and progress reports.
Other work as assigned.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Currently enrolled in an Information Management or Computer Science degree program entering junior or senior year
Basic Understanding of Selenium WebDriver written in either .NET or Java
Basic Understanding of .NET Core or Java
Basic Understanding of Git and code repository/versioning
Basic Understanding of functional testing
Basic Understanding of the SDLC (Waterfall, SCRUM, XP, KANBAN)
