Cree External Production and Capacity Planner in Ipoh, Malaysia

Here’s the Gist:

We are seeking a high performing, self-motivated Senior External Production and Capacity Planner to support our team in Asia.  In this role, you would deliver a high level of service and address issues as they arise and answer questions real-time.  You would work effectively on your own and in a team environment.

This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing processes to ensure execution of customer and revenue targets and achieve key performance metrics while continuously improving processes. This individual must also be a self-motivated leader and will work closely with other members of the planning, production control, engineering, customer service and operations teams in Wolfspeed.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Responsible for tactical supply and capacity planning at external production sites

  • Develop process for consolidating output requirements across Planning and drive external sites to support customer and revenue targets

  • Track WIP for key products, flag risk for output delays to stakeholders, and lead effort to reduce customer impact by working with Engineering, Quality and other internal organizations

  • Optimize capacity plans in working with external factories, engineering and operations to maximize the output and minimize mismatched orders

  • Manage planning parameters for external production sites to ensure accurate customer plans including tracking actual vs planned cycle times

  • Responsible for working with team for successful design, definition, testing and implementation of SAP Planning process and tools

  • Support monthly S&OP process including assessing capacity feasibility, recommending solutions to optimize supply, and preparing and distributing external build forecasts

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • BS Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or other Engineering field

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Self-starter with strong personal work ethic

  • Extensive experience in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP.
