The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Leading the establishment and maintenance of data management and reporting function for MUFG financial Institution Enhanced Due Diligence (FI EDD). Adapting existing Python scripts and developing new scripts to generate updated outputs utilized by FI EDD team to conduct reviews of the Bank’s FI customers. Leading global cross-function initiatives to support the Global Financial Crimes Division (GFCD) in providing timely support of all FI EDD analysis and reporting deliverables. Advising the Head of Risk Analytics and the subject matter expert FI EDD managers, to generate TDD templates, set risk thresholds based on statistical analysis and facilitate the identification of risk coverage gaps to drive necessary process enhancements. Leading the development of analytics and reporting for the FI EDD team by managing the collection, organization and evaluation of quantitative data relevant to the FI EDD process including: development of code to organize and structure data; standardizing data and reporting formats; and identifying trends in data utilizing experience with data transformation, modeling, Python and Tableau. Managing the implementation of FI EDD projects and evaluation of quantitative and qualitative data relevant to the FI EDD process. Designing and developing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) as necessary. Leading the development of front end application to better perform data intake, review and analysis of questionnaire data for FI EDD and TDD work. Leading and training new team members to manage BAU functions, to enable the generation of original and unique analysis for FI EDD and I&A.

Qualifications – External

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree).

Experience: 5 years of experience adapting existing Python scripts to be applied to a diverse data landscapes, utilizing data analytical end user tools (Tableau, SQL and MS Excel functions, including macros creation, VBA, vlookup, and pivots); performing data processing and profiling; utilizing Python code to enhance existing data analytical processes and drive change; automation of data intake and cleaning; documenting data requirements; creating UAT test cases and execution of UAT test cases; and with statistical analysis tools (t-test, regression analysis, ANOVAs and Chi-square testing); and 1 year of experience must include leading support function for a global Bank’s EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) team; driving the creation and implementation of a front-end application providing initial review and analysis for FI EDD case triage.

Alternate: In the alternate, Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) plus 3 years of experience adapting existing Python scripts to be applied to a diverse data landscapes, utilizing data analytical end user tools (Tableau, SQL and MS Excel functions, including macros creation, VBA, vlookup, and pivots); performing data processing and profiling; utilizing Python code to enhance existing data analytical processes and drive change; automation of data intake and cleaning; documenting data requirements; creating UAT test cases and execution of UAT test cases; and with statistical analysis tools (t-test, regression analysis, ANOVAs and Chi-square testing); and 1 year of experience must include leading support function for a global Bank’s EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) team; driving the creation and implementation of a front-end application providing initial review and analysis for FI EDD case triage.

Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.

Wage: $130,270 to $147,900 U.S. dollars per year
