Job Description

• Investigate and respond to credit bureau disputes and/or Investigate and correct accounts as applicable.

• Maintain current knowledge of CDIA guidelines for reporting and responding to disputes, including Metro2 knowledge according to the Credit Reporting Resource Guide.

• Investigate and respond to Adverse Action requests, including responding directly to the consumer.

• Investigate and respond to Inquiry Removal requests, including responding directly to the consumer.

• Investigate and respond to Validation of Debt and Goodwill requests, including responding directly to the consumer.

• Submit manual updates to CRAs for major account status changes.

• Ensures compliance with Exeter’s policies & procedures, safety, state and federal laws, regulations, and standards. Other duties as assigned/ required.

Compensation Information

Salary Range: $18.50/hr - $21.50/hr

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

• High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.

• Two (2) years of credit bureau reporting and disputes experience.

• (One) 1 to (two) 2 years of work-related experience, in the finance or credit related industry preferred.

• Previous experience with the eOscar Dispute software
