Large utility is looking for a Associate EPC Project Manager in Jackson, MI. The Associate EPC Project Manager supports project management for electric distribution, managing small projects involving high-voltage and low-voltage lines and substations, ensuring timely completion within budget. responsibilities:

  • Support Project Management for Electric Distribution, focusing on small projects involving HVD and LVD lines and substations.

  • Plan, implement, ensure quality control, report status, and close assigned projects.

  • Assist in preparing plans, scheduling, and delivering standardized project management documents as part of the Project Lifecycle Process (PLP).

  • Aid in financial forecasting and reconcile resources and project expenditures.

  • Develop and manage project execution plans.

  • Assist in developing project schedules and communicate them to the project team.

  • Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders and outside agencies.

Skill:

  • Proficiency in Project Management Institute PM knowledge areas, including Project Integration, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resource, Communications, Risk, Procurement, and Stakeholder Management.

  • strong project management skills, including prioritization and meeting deadlines.

  • General knowledge and understanding of electric distribution lines and substations.

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with project stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering/business or relevant field from an accredited college or university.

  • 0-2 years of overall relevant work experience required.

  • Preferred 2-4 years of overall relevant work experience.
