Eaton Corporation Supply Chain EMT/MRO Analyst in Jackson, Michigan

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Supply Chain EMT/MRO Analyst to join our team. This position will be located at our Jackson, MI facility.

As a Supply Chain EMT/MRO Analyst, you will apply purchasing practices to EMT & MRO processes. Using knowledge to ensure products meet quality, delivery, and specification requirements within a specific timeframe. Facilitate order flow through facility and expedite orders within functional area of responsibility

The expected annual salary range for this role is $62250.03 - $91300.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

• Understand how to skillfully negotiate with internal and external suppliers, solve problems, settle disputes; develop win-win resolutions, and develop positive relations through tact, diplomacy, and good judgment.

• Comprehend how to define and apply complex data analysis and analytical tools for process improvements. Must be able to communicate findings to all levels of SCM Team.

• Understand and apply process channel knowledge for acquiring materials and/or services to ensure delivery requirements for commodities and/or service customers.

• Possess fundamental and sound knowledge of the value chain process; and possess the ability to analyze and interpret cost drivers when applying cost out strategies.

• Understand how to utilize and apply project management tools and techniques for procurement applications.

• Prepare reports and other correspondence for use by Eaton SCM professionals.

• Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate to the Maintenance & Manufacturing Engineering.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of three (3) years experience in Supply Chain.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Jackson, MI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years experience in Supply Chain within a Manufacturing environment.

• Proficient in the development and tracking of internal metrics.

• Experience with ERP and procurement processes.

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).

Position Success Criteria:

• Strong communications and customer care skills when interacting with both internal and/or external customers.

• Knowledge of MRO and Capital Purchasing.

• Knowledge of supply chain and purchasing reporting systems.

• Knowledge of Eaton commodity products and supplier resources.

• Understanding of supply chain and purchasing requirements.

• Quality assurance and reporting accuracy.

• Knowledge and applications skills of process improvement.

• Proficiency with computer applications (Excel, One Note, MFGPRO).
